Founder and Regenerative Specialist at Resylien.
Joshua is a passionate regenerative farmer, agroecologist, and founder of Resylien. Equipped with eleven years of serious farming experience he has greatly improved, designed, built, and managed farms and ranches to success. He is as likely to plant a vegetable field as he is to herd sheep and rope cattle. As the soil enthusiast he is, there are few things that excite him as much as seeing healthy soils hosting abundant life. Apart from his deep experience he has a degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a concentration in Agroecology. With a keen ability for languages, Joshua has been around the world on a mission to bring regenerative solutions to farms including, but not limited to: the United States, Spain, Latin America, and the Middle East. Joshua is currently on an active search to acquire land in order to develop a destination for regenerative agriculture working models and education.

A video was made of our garden's compost system which has become a model for efficiency. I designed this four chamber system a year ago and it has given nothing but good results! I speak in the first part about the importance of compost, how it is done, and show off our own system.A video was made of our garden's compost system which has become a model for efficiency. Recognitions and awards.
Only one student, out of almost 65,000, is chosen to receive this award each year. I was given this award for my achievements in the field of sustainability: making organic garden economically viable, hosting 100+ people classes, tours, and workshops, and making the garden a model of admiration by the whole Miami community..
Biography for award:
Joshua is an up-and-coming young organic farmer whose career choice has taken him far into the American West as a soil conservationist and deep in the Central American rainforest as a tropical fruit grower. He will be the first to graduate from the new Agricultural Science Major this Spring. Presently, he manages the FIU Organic Garden which has achieved economic independence and five-fold profitability. On his spare time, you could find him browsing through seed catalogs and charts of massive plant varieties. Joshua plans to dedicate his life to being a fruit/vegetable farmer, to promote local community food production, and to protect agricultural biodiversity from encroaching monocultural uniformity.
